A classical white wedding in the middle of rose blossoms

Karmela and Valdis are once again proof that you can get married even if you have been together for years. “We met with Valdis already in the autumn of 2008 and we both realized at once that we can’t be without each other,” says Karmela with delight.
The bride chose the place for engagement without knowing it herself – it was the most romantic place in their hometown Rakvere. It was Vallimägi where Valdis asked the long awaited question and he did not have to wait for the answer for long – it was of course “Yes”.
From wedding fair to wedding planner
In November a wedding fair took place in Tallinn, where the couple met a wedding planner Merily. “We were convinced that we were not ready to organize a wedding and that we have to find someone to help us. We were so positive about this meeting, that we already knew then that Merily was the right person to organize our wedding,” said the bride
Not long after the first meeting with Merily the couple met with the whole team of wedding planners. Karmela knew from the beginning that their wedding had to be a classical wedding with elegance and romance. “The wedding planner gave a lot of advice and information about ideas as well as the budget. At that moment it became clear that we would start making our dreams come true with Celebrate Group.”
Celebrate Groups team also formed a good connection, trust and understanding with the couple, which is the base for organizing a wonderful wedding.
The location for the wedding – Barto Guest House – was chosen because there were around hundred wedding guests invited and possibility for accommodation was important for those who came from further away. The bride and groom also liked that Barto offered a catering service so it was not necessary to order it separately.
For the ceremony the idyllic chapel of Vainupea, which is located by a beautiful seaside, was chosen. The location was a truly romantic place and made the couple feel peaceful.
Classical white wedding gained its momentum
“Luckily we didn’t have to compromise almost anything when planning our wedding – we trusted the wedding planners and wanted everything to be perfect,” said the bride.
The ceremony in the chapel was intimate and close even though there were many guests. It was a real summer idyll – the seal was calm and the sun was shining – like in a movie! When the bride and groom arrived, their relative was playing marvelous romantic pieces that made everything even more personal and soulful.
“One of the most moving moments was when we arrived at the wedding party and saw how nicely the place was decorated,” said Karmela. “Although we had discussed everything with the wedding planner and we knew the vision, seeing it in real life created a wow effect.”
Especially memorable for the couple were different surprises that were organized – for example the spectacular arch of flowers set up by Celebrate Group, songs that their relatives sang and majestic fireworks.
“We were willing to spend the most on videographers,” said Karmela. “What could be sweeter than a video reminder of our wedding day. The emotions are still heightened when we watch those videos!”
A happy day full of excitement
Karmela and Valdis remember their wedding day as quite fast paced. Time flew by and there was a lot of excitement. “The most exciting and moving moment for us was before the ceremony, when all the guests were already in the chapel and we were waiting for the right time for entrance. That’s when we actually realized what is really happening,” reminisced the couple.
