Conference „GIS – through geography“
11.-12.05.2022
On the 11th and 12th of May we organized the 19th annual Estonian ESRI users conference in Tallinn Teachers’ House – ESRI days 2022. There were 120 participants on site and around 200 people were part of the conference through live broadcast. All together there were 44 presentations about currently important topics and also on topics related to GIS and geoinformatics: user experience stories and technical workshops from the practitioners and top specialists of different fields.
For example, it was possible to get an overview of developments and trends in GIS technology, meet with ESRI representatives, developers and users, and gather useful new ideas for the efficient use of geoinformatics. Of course, there was an opportunity to meet old and new acquaintances and colleagues.
Also, on ESRI Days the awards “GIS Act of the Year 2022” and “Best ArcGIS Web Map 2022” were given out.
In addition to receiving new and useful information at the conference, we also organized a pleasant dinner for the participants to relax and mingle with new and old friends, where magician Meelis Kubo provided the entertainment. Ribe Catering hosted the conference with exhilarating coffee breaks and a delicious dinner.
On ESRI days 2022 Mihkel Eller from Peod.ee took care of the sound and lighting solutions and good music, and MIND Media brought high-quality video solutions and a live broadcast of the conference to the participants on site and online.
