Conference „GIS – through geography“

Esri days took place again and this time in jubilee form!
We organized the 20th Estonian Esri user conference – Esri days 2023 – on April 26 – 27 in Tallink’s Spa and Conference Hall. Nearly 150 people participated in the conference and all presentations were filmed in hybrid form. There were more than 30 speakers – practical use cases and technical workshops from practitioners and top specialists from various fields of life from Estonia and abroad.
At the annual Esri days conference, you can meet old acquaintances and make new contacts. The event allows you to familiarize yourself with developments and trends in GIS technology, it is a meeting place with Esri representatives, developers and users from the public sector, local governments, private companies, higher education institutions and research institutions to get fresh ideas for the effective inclusion of spatial data and map material in their work.
As part of the Esri days, the awards “GIS Act of the Year 2023”, “Estonian Young Scientist Award 2023″ and “Best ArcGIS Web Map 2023” were given to the winners.
On the evening of the first day of the conference, the participants went to Vabamu, where we organized a glamorous dinner. The host of the evening was Kait Kall, who made even the most serious person laugh, a delicious cake was brought to the room accompanied by a saxophone player Virgo Veldi, and at the end of the evening, DJ Aaro Põder spun the record.
These two days were very exciting and full of wisdom!
